The ladder is designed for ceiling heights from 9 ft 10 in to 12 ft, making this combination a practical solution for projects requiring safe and convenient access to the roof.
The DRL roof hatch is designed for flat roofs with a pitch between 0 and 5 degrees. It provides thermal performance with an R-value of 8.33 and features piston-assisted opening for easier operation. The hatch remains open at a 60-degree angle for convenient access to the roof. For added safety, the frame includes anti-slip tape, and the locking mechanism provides secure and reliable latching. The interior finish is white, while the exterior metal cladding is dark gray, RAL 7022. The hatch door is made with a layered PVC-XPS-PVC panel with an extruded polystyrene foam core and aluminum sheeting on top.
The included LMP attic ladder is supplied in a European size configuration, with the same construction as the U.S. model. It is a durable three-section metal folding ladder with non-slip metal steps, an insulated door with an R-value of 5.2, a peripheral weather seal gasket, and a handrail with a built-in unloading mechanism for improved comfort and ease of use. Its metal construction provides strength and stability, while the folding design allows the ladder to close neatly within the ceiling opening when not in use.
