The purpose of the flashing is to better insulate the roof window frame and roof decking. The underside of the Thermo flashing has flexible insulating material, creating a barrier by tightly sealing the skylight frame. FAKRO’s Thermo flashing works well in combination with insulated roofs and is especially recommended in cold regions.
