Premium Deck Mounted Solar Venting Skylight FVS G31

The FVS G31 is a deck-mounted solar venting skylight designed to bring natural light, fresh air, and remote-controlled operation into the room. It is powered by an integrated solar panel and does not require hardwiring, making it a practical option for out-of-reach installations or projects where electrical wiring is not preferred.

The skylight features G31 Low-E glazing, a natural wood interior frame, an integrated insect screen, durable exterior aluminum cladding, and a built-in rain sensor. The included remote control operates the skylight and can also be used with compatible FAKRO solar-powered accessories purchased separately.

• Solar Powered Operation: Integrated photovoltaic panel and battery-powered system allow remote operation without hardwiring.
• Remote Control Included: Allows convenient opening and closing of the skylight from below. The remote can also operate compatible FAKRO solar-powered accessories purchased separately.
• Automatic Rain Sensor: Automatically closes the skylight when rainfall is detected for added protection. The sensor is inactive when the skylight is closed.
• Natural Wood Frame: Made from hand-selected pine, pressure-treated and finished with clear acrylic lacquer that highlights the natural wood grain.
• High Performance Glazing: Equipped with the G31 glazing unit – double-pane, low-emission, tempered-laminated glass with warm spacer and argon gas fill. In case of breakage, laminated glass fragments remain bonded to the interlayer (U-factor: 0.41, SHGC: 0.19).
• Insect Screen Included: Factory-installed mesh screen allows the skylight to remain open while helping keep mosquitoes and other insects out.
• Condensation Protection: Triple-seal gasket system and perimeter gasket under the frame enhance insulation and help prevent moisture build-up.
• Durable Cladding: Exterior aluminum cladding in RAL 7022 with UV-resistant polyester coating for long-lasting weather protection.
• Bracket-Free Installation: Simple deck-mount system enables fast and secure installation without additional brackets.
• Flexible Application: Suitable for roof pitches between 15° and 85°. Designed for use at altitudes up to 3,000 ft above sea level.

Flashing Information

Flashings are required and must be selected based on roof type:

• EH-A flashing – for tile, standing seam, and corrugated metal roofs
• EL flashing – for shingles and shakes

Optional Accessories

Optional accessories include SMZ solar blinds, SRF blackout blinds, and light-reducing blinds. The included remote control can operate both the skylight and compatible FAKRO solar-powered accessories purchased separately.

Warranty

The FVS skylight is backed by a 10-year warranty for the frame and glazing unit, including a 20-year hail damage warranty on laminated glass. The motor and electronics are covered by a 2-year warranty, subject to limitations specified in the product warranty terms.
